Biofreeze in the AndesEach year since 2001, a group of men and women convene to climb mountains around the world to help raise awareness about prostate cancer.  This year, Tom Hyde, DC from Miami, Florida  participated in the annual climb.  The group went to Ecuador to attempt a summit of 19,347 feet Cotapaxi, a volcano in the Andes. Dr. Hyde has used Biofreeze and Thera-Band products for over 15 years and has participated on the Thera-Band Research Advisory Board for the last 4 years.  He utilizes Biofreeze and Thera-Band when teaching his workshop, Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab, Provocation and Motion (FAKTR-PM).

The Prostate Awareness Foundation (PAF) offers information, support, and education about the treatment options available to those with prostate cancer. The objective is to lessen the trauma, impact, problems, and depression associated with the disease, and to encourage proactive responsibility for one’s own healing. PAF also offers information to those with a family history of prostate cancer who wish to take a preventative approach to the disease.
